  • 1.  FDRP professional indemnity insurance

    Hi everyone - I have always insured myself through AON for both my counselling practice and my mediation practice. I have received this years bill and note that they have almost doubled the fee from last year. Has anyone else noticed this and has anyone got any suggestions as to other/cheaper options for this?

    I practice in the professional mediator and I did not see any rise in the insurance directed at mediation.

    Thanks Richard - I might recheck it but the new invoice was over $500 while my last one was under $300.

    Hi, Lidy.

    I switched to Astute last year, when the AGD Unit advised me that my professional indemnity insurance through AASW membership would no longer cover family law matters. Astute is affordable, and I like the free run-off cover for eventual retirement..
