    Express your interest to join or re-join the 2022 NSW – Sydney Facilitative Committee by 3 February 2022.   

     

    Dear Members,

    We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and committed Resolution Institute members to be part of our 2022 NSW Sydney Facilitative Committee member groups. If this describes you, read more about what is involved below and consider completing an expression of interest (EOI) to join or re-join a group.

    NEW 2022 

    The purpose of the state facilitative committees is to engage and connect members in aspects of membership function, to enable members to have a role and a voice. 

    State facilitative committee members will be responsible for: 

    • Organizing a program of networking and CPD events that they determine will be of benefit to their state members.  
    • Engaging in the role and functions of membership matters, particularly in relation to the needs of members in their state. 
    • Providing advice to the Board and staff on current policy and membership matters, including industry developments. 
    • Supporting the Strategic Plan and acting as ambassadors for the Resolution Institute.  

     

    Terms of Reference will be provided to all new members. 

     

    This committee will be formed under clause 8 of the Resolution Institute Constitution  

     
    FAQs 
    How does the group selection process work? 
    Each expression of interest will be provided to the current committee. The committee will then determine whether the 2022 member may be appointed or if more EOIs are received than positions available an election will occur. If an election occurs the process for this will vary for each candidate. In either event the renewed committee members of 2022 group will be announced by 7th February 2022. 

     
      

    What is involved in being a 2022 NSW – Sydney Facilitative Committee member? 
    2022 NSW – Sydney Facilitative Committee group meet to organise and host local networking and professional development events. Typically, groups meet monthly for one hour and share the task of hosting events run approximately once per month for two hours. Groups work well when members enjoy planning, organising and assisting in running professional development events, and commit to and be available to attend most group meetings and events. Events are also most successful when members also support the promotion of events in consultation with Resolution Institute office. 

     
    What personal qualities and skills do members of the 2022 NSW – Sydney Facilitative Committee need? 

    • Enthusiastic about DR 
    • Committed to promoting the professional development of colleagues and growth of DR 
    • Eager to contribute and help 
    • Willing to use your contacts, networks and initiative to invite interesting speakers 
    • Able to generate ideas, to plan and organise events 
    • Reliable – able to do what you say you will and do it on time
