Expert Determination Scholarship 2023
It gives us great pleasure to announce that Adwoa Abban has been awarded the Hon Margaret Beazley AC KC Expert Determination Scholarship for 2023. The scholarship will cover all costs for the Expert Determination course with Resolution Institute.
As our first female-only scholarship, this is among the cornerstones of our efforts towards bringing about meaningful change in gender disparity in determinative dispute resolution in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
The scholarship committee was impressed with Adwoa's diverse experience, skills and commitment to dispute resolution, not only in Australia but also in the UK and Africa.
Adwoa leads a quantity surveyor and claims consultancy practice in Western Australia and is committed to enhancing gender diversity in the industry in which she works. She is a strong advocate for gender diversity in the construction industry, especially in quantity surveying, creating awareness and the need to encourage female participation in the industry.
We extend our warmest congratulations and wish her the best in her future endeavours.
