    COMMUNITY EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS: Thursday's Tip

    Dear Members,

It is great to see the engagements and discussions increasing. As such I am using my Thursday's Tips on a Wednesday to help you review the topic of how to adjust your email notifications so that you can follow along with discussion threads and resources shared at a frequency that works for you!

    Why?

This functionality allows you to customize your email preference to work for you! Real-Time emails are perfect for the community's power users or anyone who likes up-to-the-minute alerts on what's going on, while Daily Digest is perfect for those who would like a daily recap of everything you may have missed the day before. If you belong to multiple communities and don't want to receive individual Daily Digest emails for each community, but want daily updates, then the Consolidated Daily Digest is for you!

    How?
You can adjust the frequency of which you receive community digests by navigating to your profile page, then selecting My Account and Community Notifications.  Here you can select from a few options for each of the communities you are a member of.

    What are my options?

    1. Daily Digest: You want to see every individual community's posts in your email inbox 1x per day.
    2. Real-Time: You want to see every single post in your email inbox, as they happen.
    3. No Email: You don't want to see any posts in your email inbox.
    4. Consolidated Daily: You want a summarized version of every communities' posts in your email inbox 1x per day.
    5. Consolidated Weekly: You want a summarized version of every communities' posts in your email inbox 1x per week.

Pro Tip: If you begin a thread or post a reply, you will automatically receive Real-Time emails from the discussion you have participated in. If you wish to not receive Real-Time emails on a question you've asked or answered, then simply unfollow the thread by toggling off the following toggle.

Tune in next week for more community tips and tricks! In the meantime, do not hesitate to ask any questions you might have by replying to this thread or emailing me on community@resolution.institute
