There was some Restorative Justice in NSW regarding criminal matters, run on a voluntary basis by a couple of police sergeants but it was defunded. I do not know of any other initiatives. True a third party makes a decision in 'Arbitration' but it is not always if at all a judicial style decision. I feel Arbitration falls within ADR. I view thee Arbitrator as one of the disputing parties, albeit having no interest in the decision other than its fairness.
