Michael Lombard is the principal of Lombard Mediation, and is an accredited mediator. He was accredited by the law Institute of Victoria as a specialist in Personal Injury law in 1993, and obtained his Bond University mediation accreditation in 2013. He was awarded “Lawyer of the Year-personal injuries litigation” in 2019, by Best Lawyers in Australia.
Prior to commencing Lombard Mediation, Michael was a partner at Adviceline Injury Lawyers, a division of Holding Redlich, practising exclusively in personal injuries for 19 years. His experience included claims arising from high profile cases including the Bourke street rampage, the Flinders street tram stop attack, the Kerang train disaster and the Burnley tunnel crash. He represented parties in a broad range of circumstances including a Defence force helicopter crash in Afghanistan, industrial accidents and criminal injury/crimes compensation claims.
